Services

Provides multi-service center for homeless persons. Services include a hot-noon meal 365 days/year, shower and laundry facilities, mailing addresses, telephone access, entree to noon-day meals, food pantry listings and shelter for families. The Resource Center provides case management services for motivated homeless clients who desire self-sufficiency and permanent housing; vocational and housing assistance, work clothing, transportation, voice mail, identification support/birth certificates, and benefits advocacy. Auxiliary services include medical services, referrals and prescriptions, available every Friday from 11am-12:30pm by Contra Costa County's Homeless Health Team. Referrals to other providers are available. For services, all clients start with the Intake number.

Services

Two family housing programs for helping families transition into permanent housing and self-sufficiency The Family Assistance Residence program currently provides homeless families emergency shelter for up to 90 days The transitional housing program provides temporary housing for families needing help to transition from homelessness into independent living for up to 24 months.

Eligibility

Must be homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless due to eviction, domestic violence or divorce. -Must meet minimum income eligibility according to HHS guidelies. -Must be a legal U.S. resident. -Must be 18 years of age or older. -Must have children under the age of 18 currently living with you. -Children must attend school. -Must be and remain, drug and alcohol free. -Must provide criminal background check. -Must be employed full time at least 30 days before entering Transitional Housing Program.

Services

Primarily provides emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence, but will shelter homeless mothers with children.There are domestic violence advocates, case-managers and counselors available at the shelter to help the clients with their needs.

Eligibility

Female victim of domestic violence or homeless women caring for small children. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Provides transitional housing and counseling services to veterans and their families for a period of 18 to 24 months. During the program, veterans are dealing with mental health issues, physical disabilities, and transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
