Homeless or at risk families and individuals. Family must have at least one child under 18, or pregnant women must be in the third trimester (at least 7 months pregnant) without other children. The Motel Voucher Program is for families only. All clients accessing MVP during after hours are required to go to a CORE agency on the next business day. Must have photo ID

Operates a transitional shelter for men, women, and families with children under 14. Shelter residents need to be on Alameda County GA or TANF; Crossroads will assist individuals to switch their coverage to Alameda. The standard fee is $312/month for singles; may vary . Residents receive Food Stamps, are assisted in finding a job and other services to become self-reliant. The stay at the shelter is limited to six months.
